I signed up to give it a whirl and see how it compares from a lag and Ofcourse ease of use/ accessibility issue. Perhaps Google Stadia will incorporate that feature. Luna has really impressed me with their new feature to enable a non Luna subscriber to jump into many different games with you via a code. I’m thinking based on what you said, you may want to try GeForce now if remote, because it does currently provide many games in the Steam and perhaps Epix libraries.

GeForce now expands their available library weekly. However if you are like me and comparing as a consumer, you see Luna has a load of offerings that are quality titles and free. It’s a good question, but it also makes sense that the platform makes money. I currently subscribe to, very newly Stadia, Luna with the controller, GeForce Now and also use services or apps like Moonlight, Steamlink and Shadow gaming. But some of my kids are grown and my dad likes games, so I am trying to test various platforms to see what’s out there with the end goal of having fun, ease of accessibility and the ability to get my dad the game as well to play or one of my kids.

So I am a 50 year old gamer and my kids or someone in my house has every system. I see you are getting eviscerated for this question, but Insee where you are coming from. Don't bring your sh*tty console war to PC. All this does is make me wish it would die, but it won't because of cucks like this that think it's an entirely different platform. Stadia should be the better option, but pay gating people instead of plug and play with games you already own on the same godd*mn platform is just stupid.

Lets pretend, for a moment, that GeForce NOW doesn't have browser or android app options and I'm away from my PC/streaming box. However, I WOULD have to purchase the whole game again with Stadia. It was purchase from store of my choice straight to absolute streaming bliss. Nvidia didn't pay gate and make me purchase the game again on their "platform".

I bought the Ultimate Edition on steam and some months later received a free copy on Epic. You clearly speak of things you know nothing about assuming that you can't play a game you purchased elsewhere on GeForce NOW.

If I own a game on steam, I should not have to buy it again on Stadia in order to stream it. I'm sure you are constantly baffled mentally when it comes to what a platform is. The world is switching to Cloud based everything and those developers are greedy dinosaurs trying to stand in the way of progress that could really benefit consumers.

Developers who pull their games from GeForce now in my opinion are just greedy asshats standing in the way of people who might stop buying expensive gaming PC components instead of spending a fraction of the price to rent a PC from GeForce now and not need to buy a new $1k video card on a yearly basis. What if I set up an identical virtual cloud PC on Amazon web services.literally remote PC hardware I would be renting, should I have to buy another copy of the game to run it there? I don't know how stadia runs or on what hardware, maybe it classifies as a separate console but if it runs on remote PC hardware then asking if already purchased games could run on it without having to buy them again is a perfectly valid question. In my opinion GeForce now is simply a rented on demand remote PC but by your logic to play a PC game on the 3 different PC's I should have to buy the game 3 times. I know this is an old thread but I have never understood responses like yours.

Console players will play on console with options from both Sony and Microsoft for remote play on several devices and on console is where they will buy games, the pro games as you say are great value but only if you don't already own them elsewhere if you have a gaming PC or current console you won't sink serious time into games on stadia, if you already own games you won't buy them again at full price on stadia as the cost would soon out weigh the novelty of been able to play a £50 game on the bus lol, so I'm just not sure where stadia is suppose to fit it, it doesn't complement either console or PC gaming and just isn't strong enough to stand on its own and replace either, plus it is fully dependent on Internet speed which leaves a lot of people on slow Internet or with a usage cap simply unable to access the service.

Maybe failed was a strong choice of words more like fallen short of what it could of been, for anyone who owns a PC and already has titles geforce now to me is the better choice, you can play the supported games you already own anywhere for free you don't even need the founders subscription there is a free option.
